IN RE:
HB2902 by Gamez (Relating to a statement on a temporary tag warning against unauthorized reproduction, purchase, use, or sale of the tag.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend provisions in Transportation Code, Chapter 503, to require dealer's, converter's, and buyer's temporary tags to include a statement warning that unauthorized reproduction, purchase, use, or sale of a temporary tag is an offense.

Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources.
