HB3346 by Jones, Jolanda (Relating to the administration of medication to certain persons in the custody of a sheriff.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require sheriffs' departments to continue providing medications to certain defendants, and would repeal a provision that allows sheriffs to not provide medication if it is determined that state reimbursement funds are not available. 

Local Government Impact

The bill could have an impact on sheriffs' departments to the extent that the cost of providing medications is not reimbursed by the state.
