No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) to establish an advisory committee to study the need for suicide prevention and peer support programs in fire departments across the state. According to TCFP, it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
