HB3739 by Klick (Relating to the medical transportation and care for certain inmates in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to adopt certain rules relating to the medical transport of female inmates, as well as place certain requirements on the availability of telemedicine. 

It is assumed any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
