No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to state that the Employees Retirement System (ERS) has exclusive authority over all aspects of the purchases of goods and services if the purchase is made with money other than money appropriated from the General Revenue fund and related to the operations of its home office facilities used in administering the system.  It is assumed any costs related to the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
