HB3865 by Lambert (Relating to the purchase of goods and services by the Employees Retirement System of Texas to operate its home office.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to state that the Employees Retirement System (ERS) has exclusive authority over all aspects of the purchases of goods and services related to the operations of its home office facilities if such purchases are made with money other than money appropriated from General Revenue. It is assumed any costs related to the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
