IN RE:
HB4091 by Johnson, Ann (Relating to the mental health needs of a minor in the managing conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Department of Family and Protective Services to request admission of a minor to an inpatient mental health facility if the minor would benefit from a specialty inpatient stabilization treatment program.

It is assumed that any costs to the Department of Family and Protective Services and the Health and Human Services Commission could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
