Local Government Impact
School districts and open-enrollment charter schools would be required to provide instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator in grades 7 through 12. Some costs may be incurred in providing this instruction. However, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
