No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code relating to the authority to cancel certain elections on a measure.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

There may be an impact to units of local government relating to elections materials, notices, and ballot printing if an election is canceled or rescheduled.
