No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would mandate the Economic Development and Tourism Office, in collaboration with the Texas Workforce Commission, conduct a study and develop a report to identify and analyze the state's potential economic and workforce growth opportunities and challenges related to attracting offshore wind energy supply chain industries in the state.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
