IN RE:	HB4972 by Garcia (Relating to a study on mental health services provided to veterans through the Texas Veterans Commission.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) to conduct a study to evaluate strategies to improve and expand mental health services provided through the TVC's Military Veteran Peer Network. The report shall be submitted no later than December 1, 2024. 

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill's provisions could be absorbed using existing resources.
