SB37 by Zaffirini (Relating to the criminal offense of hazing.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would include a peace officer or law enforcement agency as a person or entity to which a person may report a hazing incident to avoid criminal and civil liability. 

The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state court system. It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
