No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

The bill would require school districts to update student codes of conduct and all relevant documents, presentations, and trainings for the bill's provisions. Districts would also designate a single person as a campus behavior coordinator and complete additional data collections.
