SB374 by Huffman (Relating to the period for disposing of a charge that a person violated a condition of release from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would increase the period for investigation after the issuance of a warrant or arrest of certain parolees. According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Board of Pardons and Paroles, and the Office of Court Administration any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
