No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of Court Administration, and the Department of State Health Services, it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

According to the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the fiscal impact cannot be determined as the number of cases of noncompliance resulting in penalty revenue is unknown.
