FROM:
Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
SB938 by Blanco (Relating to the issuance by certain conservation and reclamation districts of bonds for the development and maintenance of recreational facilities.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Local Government Impact
Contingent on the passage of a constitutional amendment (SJR 32), the bill would allow certain conservation and reclamation districts located in El Paso County to issue bonds for the development and maintenance of recreational facilities that are supported by property taxes. It is unknown if and in what amount a bond issuance may occur; as such, the fiscal impact on units of local governments cannot be determined.
