No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Education Agency, school systems would need to update current policies related to active shooter training if conducted and would need to encumber the costs associated with same.
