No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

As a result of this bill, open-enrollment charter schools would be subject to the requirement of establishing a local school health advisory council in which members are appointed by the governing body of the school to ensure that health education instruction complies with current law. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
