No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Occupations Code, Chapter 2301, Subchapter H, relating to regulation of motor vehicle dealers, to authorize a dealer, under certain conditions specified by the bill, to advertise for sale a used motor vehicle that is not in possession of the dealer at the time the advertisement is placed.

Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the department or the State.
