Local Government Impact
The bill would require school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to have specified numbers of physical copies of foundation and enrichment curriculum instructional materials to be available in classrooms and school libraries. It would also require teachers to be provided a physical copy of the teacher version of the instructional material, if available. The local education agencies (LEA) would incur a cost to purchase instructional materials, to the extent that the LEA does not currently have the requisite number of physical copies available.
