The bill amend the Business and Commerce Code to provide that the Office of the Attorney General's settlement communications are privileged until a certain date, as part of a deceptive trade practices investigation or action.
According to the Office of the Attorney General, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.
