IN RE:
SB1781 by Hughes (Relating to health coverage for school district and open-enrollment charter school employees under interlocal contracts or the uniform group coverage program for active school employees.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Local education agencies may choose to enter into an interlocal contract for group health insurance, which may result in additional costs associated with collaboration and procurement. Cost savings related to entering into an interlocal contract cannot be determined at this time.
