The bill would amend Transportation Code, Chapter 202, relating to the disposition of real property no longer needed for a state highway purpose.

Based on the information provided by the Department of Transportation and the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agencies' existing resources.
