SB2134 by Miles (Relating to the use of telemedicine and telehealth services in the juvenile justice system.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code as it relates to the use of telemedicine and telehealth services by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). Under the provision's of the bill, TJJD shall contract for certain telemedicine services, except for a youth's initial examination. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
