No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to requiring the Office of the Attorney General to establish a process to identify and report certain foreign-related transactions in this state to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
