IN RE:
HB3385 by Leo-Wilson (Relating to establishing the oyster council of the Parks and Wildlife Department.), As Introduced
The bill would amend the conduct constituting an offense relating to the night dredging of oysters in certain closed or restricted areas.
In fiscal year 2022, there were no individuals arrested, placed on community supervision, or admitted into a state correctional institution for an offense relating to the night dredging of oysters in certain closed or restricted areas.
It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.
