Pursuant to a notice posted on April 28, 2023, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Darby, at 8:35 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Darby; Turner; Anchía; Campos; Cunningham; Goldman; Landgraf; Lozano; Moody; Morrison; Murr; Schofield; and Thompson, Senfronia.

A quorum was present.

The chair gave opening remarks.

SB 375

The chair laid out SB 375 as pending business.

The chair moved that SB 375, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Darby; Cunningham; Goldman; Landgraf; Lozano; Morrison; Murr; Schofield (8).

Nays:                           Representatives Turner; Anchía; Campos; Moody; Thompson, Senfronia (5).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Jetton; Rose (2).

At 8:37 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
