Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2023, and permission granted on March 8, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Neave Criado, at 12:26 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Neave Criado; Stucky; Gerdes; Jones, Jolanda; Orr; Rosenthal; Schatzline; Slaton; and Tinderholt.

A quorum was present.

The committee met for organizational purposes and to hear invited testimony from entities under the committee's purview.
