Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2023, and permission granted on March 8, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, at 10:33 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smith; Bucy; Capriglione; DeAyala; Manuel; Swanson; and Vo.

A quorum was present.

The chair made opening remarks.
