Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10, 2023, and permission granted on May 10, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Landgraf, at 9:05 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Landgraf; Guerra; Bell, Keith; Dean; Kuempel; Lopez, Janie; Meza; Morales Shaw; and Reynolds.

The chair laid out SB 471 as pending business.

The chair moved that SB 471, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

The chair moved that SB 813, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
