Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 17, 2023, and permission granted on May 17, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Health Care Reform, Select met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harless, at 11:50 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harless; Howard; Bucy; Frank; Morales, Eddie; Price; Rose; and Walle.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1966 as pending business.

 

The chair moved that SB 1966, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
