Pursuant to a notice posted on August 21, 2024, the House Committee on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order in room E2.014 by the chair, Representative Oliverson, at 9:20 a.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Oliverson; Johnson, Ann; Hull; Paul; and Perez.
A quorum was present.

The chair called the committee back to order.
The chair announced that due to technical difficulties, the committee would need to move to E2.016 to continue its meeting.
At 11:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 12:15 p.m. in room E2.016. Signs were placed on the original hearing room doors directing the public to the new meeting location.
The committee reconvened at 12:16 p.m. in room E2.016 and was called to order by the chair, Representative Oliverson. The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Oliverson: Johnson, Ann; Paul; Hull; Harris.
