Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 17, 2023, and permission granted on May 17, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Burns, at 1:06 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Burns; Rogers; Buckley; Ortega; Reynolds; and Schofield.

A quorum was present.

SB 1787

The chair laid out SB 1787, Senate companion to HB 3921.

The chair moved that SB 1787, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Burns; Rogers; Buckley; Ortega; Reynolds; Schofield (6).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Bell, Cecil; Bell, Keith; Sherman, Sr. (3).

At 1:08 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
