Pursuant to a notice posted on May 22, 2023, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harris, Cody, at 9:45 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harris, Cody; Allison; Bell, Keith; Jetton; Morales, Eddie; and Rogers.

Representative Harris, Cody moved that the floor amendment to SB 1192 offered by Representative Noble, the floor amendment to SB 1404 offered by Representative Smithee, the floor amendment to SB 1624 offered by Representative Leach, the floor amendment to SB 2440 offered by Representative Burrows be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 24, 2023.  The motion prevailed without objection.
