On May 4, 2023, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety held on April 27, 2023. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on April 27, 2023, and an announcement from the house floor on April 27, 2023, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Johnson, Jarvis, at 6:58 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Guillen; Johnson, Jarvis; Bowers; Canales; Dorazio; Goodwin; and Troxclair.
A quorum was present.
HB 3330
The chair laid out HB 3330 as pending business.
Representative Bowers moved that HB 3330, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Guillen; Johnson, Jarvis; Bowers; Canales; Dorazio; Goodwin; Troxclair (7).
