Pursuant to a notice posted on October 13, 2023, and permission granted on October 12, 2023 and October 16, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 10:02 a.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Hernandez; Anchía; Dean; Geren; Guillen; Metcalf; Raymond; Slawson; Smithee; Spiller; and Turner.
