Pursuant to a notice posted on February 24, 2023, and permission granted on March 1, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Canales, at 11:57 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Canales; Raney; Ashby; Gamez; Harris, Caroline; Landgraf; Lozano; Lujan; Ordaz; Patterson; Perez; and Romero, Jr..

A quorum was present.

The Transportation Committee met to hear invited testimony on from state agencies related to the committee’s jurisdiction.

The Chair made opening remarks.
