Pursuant to a notice posted on July 10, 2023, and permission granted on July 7, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Meyer, at 12:29 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Meyer; Thierry; Button; Gervin-Hawkins; Hefner; Noble; Raymond; Shine; and Turner.

A quorum was present.

Representative Thierry moved that HB 2, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

Representative Raymond moved that HB 3, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
