The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The Chair made opening remarks.
The Chair laid out SB 1. Public testimony was heard on SB 1 – Article II. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
Senator Huffman resumed the chair.

At 10:47 AM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 15 minutes upon adjournment of the Senate.
At 12:26 PM the Committee reconvened.

Senator Huffman closed public testimony.
Senator Huffman moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business, at 7:05 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
