The chair called the meeting to order at 9:12 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Pursuant to a motion made by Senator Huffman, to suspend Senate Rules 11.10 and 11.18, the Senate Committee on Finance reconvened in the Senate Press Room, 2E.9, at 3:46 PM.

Senator Huffman moved that HB 630 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 15 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 2 absent.

Senator Whitmire submitted a motion in writing asking to be shown voting aye on HB 630, HB 1058, HB 1613, HB 2779, HB 3461, HB 4041, HB 4256, HB 5409 and HJR 2.
There being no further business, at 3:56 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
