Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Redistricting, Special was held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:08 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The following witnesses provided public testimony via videoconferencing (see attached witness list).

At 1:26 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand at ease.

At 1:40PM Senator Huffman reconvened the meeting.

The Chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. 

There being no further business, at 1:46 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
