NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Committee will take invited testimony from the Health and Human Services Commission and the Department of State Health Services, as applicable, regarding the implementation of the following bills considered by the Committee during the 87th Legislature:

 

HB 18 (Oliverson/Kolkhorst) - Relating to establishment of the prescription drug savings program for certain uninsured individuals.

 

HB 1033 (Oliverson/Hancock) - Relating to prescription drug price disclosure; authorizing a fee; providing an administrative penalty.

 

HB 2595 (Price/Nelson) - Relating to a parity complaint portal and educational materials and parity law training regarding benefits for mental health conditions and substance use disorders to be made available through the portal and otherwise; designating October as mental health condition and substance use disorder parity awareness month.

 

SB 827 (Kolkhorst/Lucio III) - Relating to health benefit plan cost-sharing requirements for prescription insulin.

 

The Committee will take invited testimony from the Health and Human Services Commission and the Department of State Health Services, as applicable, regarding the implementation of the following bills considered by the Committee during the 86th Legislature:

 

HB 2536 (Oliverson/Hancock) -  Relating to transparency related to drug costs.

The Committee will hear the following bills, and allow public testimony:

 

HB 625         Harris, Cody                                          
Relating to copayments required by a health maintenance organization or preferred provider benefit plan for visiting physical therapists.

HB 351         Bell, Cecil                                           
Relating to the provision of workers' compensation insurance and group accident and health insurance together in a packaged plan.

HB 150         Johnson, Julie                                         
Relating to prohibiting oral releases for automobile insurance claims.

HB 290         Oliverson                                             
Relating to multiple employer welfare arrangements.
