R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, No Label Brewing Co. in Katy is celebrating its 15th |
|
|
anniversary on November 28, 2025, and this significant milestone is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in 2010 by Brian and Jennifer Royo and |
|
|
acquired by Garrett Hart and Tom Paynter in 2019, No Label Brewing |
|
|
Co. was so named to reflect the founders' desire for their beers to |
|
|
be for everyone; it is the oldest craft brewery in Katy, and it was |
|
|
built within the city's historic rice dryers between two silos, |
|
|
retaining the original structures and patina; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In the course of the past decade and a half, No Label |
|
|
Brewing Co. has received a number of accolades, including 6 awards |
|
|
from the Craft Beer Marketing Awards in 2024, 11 in 2023, 7 in 2022, |
|
|
and 2 in 2021; the Hard Hats & Six Packs rice lager won the gold |
|
|
medal at the 2023 New York International Beer Competition, and the |
|
|
Cali Boy West Coast IPA earned the silver medal at the 2022 World |
|
|
Beer Cup; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play an |
|
|
important role in furthering the economic well-being of towns |
|
|
throughout Texas, and all those associated with No Label Brewing |
|
|
Co. may take great pride in the contributions that the company has |
|
|
made to the Katy community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commemorate the 15th |
|
|
anniversary of No Label Brewing Co. and extend to its owners and |
|
|
staff sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for No Label Brewing Co. as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
