R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Eulogio G. Flores of |
|
San Antonio were deeply saddened by his passing on July 3, 2025, at |
|
the age of 79; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Daniel O. and Isabel Flores, Eulogio |
|
Flores was born in Atascosa County on March 11, 1946; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Flores shared a rewarding marriage with his |
|
wife, Gloria, that spanned more than six decades; he took great |
|
pride in their four children, Martin, Dinah, Daniel, and Jesse, and |
|
with the passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family |
|
grow to include 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dedicated to his loved ones, Mr. Flores enjoyed |
|
ranching with his son, and he was an avid supporter of his |
|
grandchildren at all of their events; and |
|
WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Eulogio Flores |
|
will remember the way he touched their lives with his warmth and |
|
generosity of spirit, and he will forever hold a treasured place in |
|
their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
|
of Eulogio G. Flores and extend sincere condolences to the members |
|
of his family: to his wife, Gloria B. Flores; to his children, |
|
Martin Flores and his wife, Gracie, Dinah Buentello, Daniel Flores |
|
and his wife, Brenda, and Jesse Flores and his wife, Henriette; to |
|
his grandchildren, Andrew, Mikey, Emily, Daniel, Sydnie, Seth, |
|
Malachi, Sabrina, Nolan, Eden, Gideon, and Lexi; to his |
|
great-granddaughter, Gianina; and to his many other relatives and |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Eulogio |
|
Flores. |
