R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout is an achievement shared by
  only a select few, and the attainment of this significant honor by
  Bryleah N. Collins of Scouting America Troop No. 1105 in
  Mont Belvieu heralds a future bright with opportunity and promise;
  and
         WHEREAS, A high school sophomore, Ms. Collins has mastered a
  number of important skills in her quest to become an Eagle Scout;
  she has earned 41 merit badges requiring expertise in such diverse
  areas as first aid, personal fitness, and environmental science,
  and she has gained experience in leadership and teamwork while
  undertaking her Eagle Scout project, which involved installing
  shade structures and agility equipment in the dog play yard at the
  Mont Belvieu Animal Shelter; and
         WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has ably served her peers in
  Scouting America Troop No. 1105 in a variety of designated
  positions of responsibility, and in so doing, she has exemplified
  the many positive traits for which Scouts are renowned; and
         WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for
  attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Bryleah Collins has
  demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the scouting movement and
  its ideals, and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired along
  the way will indeed serve her well in the years to come; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Eagle Scout
  Bryleah N. Collins on achieving this prestigious rank and extend to
  her sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Collins as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
