R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Metrocrest Hospital Authority in Carrollton is |
|
|
celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding on October 8, |
|
|
2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established by the City of Farmers Branch in 1975, |
|
|
the Metrocrest Hospital Authority is dedicated to fostering a |
|
|
strong health care system that meets the needs of patients across |
|
|
the region; the organization serves the communities of North |
|
|
Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Coppell, Addison, and The |
|
|
Colony through several facilities, including Carrollton Regional |
|
|
Medical Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the past half century, the Metrocrest Hospital |
|
|
Authority has successfully leveraged resources and partnerships to |
|
|
provide education, prevention, early detection, and treatment |
|
|
programs that are designed to improve outcomes for patients at |
|
|
every stage of life; it has benefited from the leadership of its |
|
|
executive team and volunteer board, who offer a range of experience |
|
|
and insight in service of the organization's mission; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Metrocrest Hospital |
|
|
Authority has made vital contributions to the health and well-being |
|
|
of countless patients in North Texas, and it is indeed a privilege |
|
|
to join in honoring the organization on this important milestone in |
|
|
its history; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commemorate the 50th |
|
|
anniversary of the Metrocrest Hospital Authority and commend the |
|
|
organization for its steadfast service to North Texas; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the Metrocrest Hospital Authority as an expression of |
|
|
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
