R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Rye, an art teacher at the Rosedale School, |
|
|
has been named a 2025 Teacher of the Year in the Austin Independent |
|
|
School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Every year, each Austin ISD campus nominates one |
|
|
educator to represent their school as a Teacher of the Year; this |
|
|
accolade recognizes outstanding individuals who demonstrate a |
|
|
commitment to Austin ISD's mission, vision, and values; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|
|
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Rye exemplifies the passion, determination, |
|
|
and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, |
|
|
and he has set a standard of excellence to which all in his |
|
|
profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Michael Rye of |
|
|
the Rosedale School on his selection as an Austin ISD 2025 Teacher |
|
|
of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rye as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
