R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Neff of Montwood High School in El Paso has |
|
|
been named the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the Socorro |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|
|
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 10th-grade world history teacher at Montwood High, |
|
|
Mr. Neff has served as an educator and coach for a decade; his |
|
|
selection for this prestigious honor has been attributed to his |
|
|
enthusiasm for teaching and his ability to motivate his students to |
|
|
achieve their full potential; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Neff exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Michael Neff |
|
|
on his selection as the 2025 Secondary Teacher of the Year in the |
|
|
Socorro Independent School District and that he be extended sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Neff as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
