R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bertha Saucedo, a third-grade English as a second |
|
|
language teacher at Jaime Padrón Elementary School, has been named |
|
|
a 2025 Teacher of Promise in the Austin Independent School |
|
|
District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Every year, each Austin ISD campus nominates one |
|
|
first-year educator to represent their school as a Teacher of |
|
|
Promise; this accolade recognizes individuals who are |
|
|
student-centered and enthusiastic and who actively participate in |
|
|
improving their campus environments; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|
|
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Bertha Saucedo exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Bertha |
|
|
Saucedo on her selection as the 2025 Teacher of Promise at Jaime |
|
|
Padrón Elementary School and that she be extended sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with her important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Saucedo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
