R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Aristoi Classical Academy has been named Best
  Charter School in the Houston Chronicle's 2025 Best of the Best
  list; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 1996 as West Houston Charter School,
  Aristoi Classical Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school
  that offers a liberal arts education to students in kindergarten
  through 12th grade; over the years, the academy has grown to
  encompass two campuses in Katy and one in Cypress, and enrollment
  has increased to more than 1,500 learners; and
         WHEREAS, Through its classical curriculum, Aristoi strives
  to foster in its students a love of learning and a drive to become
  responsible members of society; following the natural stages of a
  child's intellectual development, the school organizes instruction
  into the three stages, grammar, logic, and rhetoric, with the goal
  of teaching students to listen carefully, reason critically,
  communicate clearly, and write persuasively; and
         WHEREAS, A majority of Aristoi's high school students have
  achieved mastery on State of Texas Assessments of Academic
  Readiness, and they have also earned high marks on the Preliminary
  SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test; the academy is ably
  led by superintendent Jonathan Mueller; and
         WHEREAS, By creating learning environments that promote
  positive values and personal growth, Aristoi Classical Academy is
  providing its students with an educational foundation that will
  serve them well throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aristoi
  Classical Academy on being named Best Charter School in the Houston
  Chronicle's 2025 Best of the Best list and extend to all those
  associated with the school sincere best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the academy as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
